The word Kainaat, derived from Arabic and Persian, translates to “universe,” “creation,” or “all beings”. It symbolizes the totality of existence—encompassing nature, human-made forms, the cosmos, and celestial bodies. Rooted in this philosophy, Studio Kainaat stands as a center for all forms of architectural creation.
Established in 2024 by Architect Ishita Nafisa Islam, Studio Kainaat began as a modest practice operating from a home residence. Our first journey started with a personal touch: the renovation of a childhood friend’s rooftop. Today, located in Mirpur DOHS, Dhaka, we have grown into a versatile firm involved in the design and implementation of diverse projects over the past three years.
