With nearly 16 years of professional experience in architectural practice and 15 years of team leadership within large-scale architectural joint venture organizations, Dr. Ishita Nafisa Islam brings a unique blend of technical mastery and organizational wisdom to Studio Kainaat.

Throughout her career, Ishita recognized that architecture is ultimately about working with people and for people. This realization sparked a deep interest in Human Resources Management, leading her to complete an MBA followed by a Ph.D. focusing on people, performance, and organizational development within the architectural practices of Bangladesh.A Vision of CreationIn 2024, Ishita founded Studio Kainaat—a name meaning “universe” or “totality of existence”—to serve as a center for all forms of architectural creation. Her philosophy treats architecture not just as a blend of art and science, but as a business discipline requiring strong leadership, HR strategy, and management excellence. Under her guidance, the studio maintains a modest size to ensure a personal approach, treating every client as an integral part of the design team.

An expert in  BIM Management and Autodesk Revit for over 15 years, Ishita oversees the delivery of comprehensive solutions across the entire design and construction lifecycle. Her leadership extends to a global scale, managing specialized divisions that provide architectural outsourcing and creative solutions for clients.
